Wayne A Spencer

Wayne A. Spencer, age 69, a resident of Portland, passed away on April 15, 2020 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland. 

          Wayne was born on November 5, 1950, in Portland, the son of Robert and Erta (Stauffer) Spencer.  He graduated from Portland High School in 1969 and worked for Dunbar Furniture in Berne.  He was a member of the VFW in Fort Recovery.  Wayne married Margaret Hall on December 13, 1999. 

          Survivors include:

          His wife:  Margaret Spencer – Portland, Indiana

          1 daughter:  Mollina Petschke – Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

          2 sisters:  Edna Wall – Portland, Indiana

                          Esta Burgess (husband Sonny) – Portland, Indiana

          4 grandchildren

          He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Spencer. 

          Private graveside services will be held at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
