Norman "Cowboy" Burns

     Norman (Cowboy) Burns, age 82 a resident of Winchester and a longtime resident of Jay Randolph Developmental Services, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, Indiana. 

     Norman was born November 20, 1934 in Marion, Indiana the son of Veda Burns.

    Norm was always dressed to the best, and had the most contagious laugh. He enjoyed listening to country music, dressing in his cowboy attire, playing his guitar and watching western movies & T.V. shows. Norm had such a bright spirit, was loved and will be missed by many.

     Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Saratoga United Methodist Church.

     A memorial service will follow at 7pm Monday at the church.  Pastor Lori McIntosh will officiate the services and burial will follow at a later date at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.

     Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist with lettering of his cemetery headstone.
