I was so sorry to receive news today of Emily's passing away. Emily and I were classmates in high school and I considered her as a dear friend. We would have sleepovers together and she gave me my first sewing lessons where we managed to sew a skirt together. Whenever my husband. Paul. and myself traveled to Ohio from Silver Spring, MD, we would quite often visit with her and Tom and get the tour of the turkey barns and go out to dinner together. She certainly was a hard worker! The last time I spoke to her was shortly after Christmas and she was as up beat as she always was in spite of her challenges. I will miss her, but I'm sure she is happy to be with her Tom. My sympathy to all of her family. She was one special person and so down to earth.
