Staci Walter-Shelton, age 42, a resident of rural Redkey, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her home in Redkey.
Staci was born on April 5, 1975, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Scott and Betty (Pfennig) Walter. She graduated from Jay County High School in 1993 and attended the University of Phoenix. She worked at Albany Health and Rehab, Murphy USA in Portland and FCC Adams in Berne. She attended The Rock Church in Portland and was a member of the Portland Eagles Lodge where she was involved with the Thunderbirds.

Her mother: Betty Walter – Portland, Indiana
Her companion: Danny Louck – Redkey, Indiana
1 son: Brian Ingram (wife Emily) – Portland, Indiana
2 daughters: Mikayla Shelton – Portland, Indiana
Mikenzie Shelton – Portland, Indiana
1 sister: Heidi Bowman (husband Tony) – Portland, Indiana
1 granddaughter: Lillian Ingram
She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Walter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Mark Hinshaw will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
Memorials may be directed towards the Jay County Special Olympics.
