Gary Zuercher, age 70, a resident of Geneva, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, at his home in Geneva.
Gary was born on January 17, 1946, in Adams County, Indiana, the son of David and Leona (Lehman) Zuercher. He graduated from Geneva High School and worked for Micro Precision in Berne for 39 years. Gary enjoyed golfing, woodworking, fishing and skeet shooting. He was a member of Geneva VFW Post #6751, Berne American Legion Post #468, NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He married Roxie Green on October 19, 2002.

Anette Coby (husband Tom) – Portland, Indiana
3 brothers: Howard Zuercher (wife Dixie) – Berne, Indiana
Sam Zuercher – Berne, Indiana
Paul Zuercher – Berne, Indiana
2 sisters: Rowena Whisler – Berne, Indiana
Marilyn Graham – Roxanna, Illinois
4 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren and 2 step-great grandsons
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Leona Zuercher, 3 brother, Arthur Zuercher, James Zuercher and Clifton Zuercher and 2 sisters, Martha Schug and Pauline Solano.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Hugh Kelly will officiate and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed towards Fellowship Baptist Church or Family LifeCare of Berne.
